MEET BRIAN
NEW LEADERSHIP DELIVERING RESULTS FOR OUR COMMUNITY
I moved to the western part of District 3 from California with my parents in 1976. I lived in a very diverse area with families from all over the world. I attended the University of Utah for my undergraduate studies and for my medical degree. I left the state for my surgical residency and returned to District 3 in 2005. My wife and I enjoy raising our three children in District 3 and we especially enjoy the proximity to the trails, downtown district, and other city amenities.
I am an orthopedic surgeon, specializing in sports medicine and arthroscopy as well as fractures and trauma. In addition to my work as a surgeon, I am the president and CEO of our group, Utah Orthopedic Specialists. I also own and manage the Brighton Medical Clinic located at the Brighton Ski Resort. I enjoy skiing, snowboarding, and hiking. I still compete as a runner and cyclist. As a family, we enjoy all the trails that Utah offers especially the Bonneville Shoreline Trail.
